15th August 2010: 64th Independence Day of India
India is one of the oldest civilizations in the world, spanning a period of more than 4000 years, and witnessing the fusion of several customs and traditions, which are reflective of the rich culture and heritage of the Country. India's Independence Day is celebrated on 15 August to commemorate its independence from British rule and its birth as a sovereign nation on that day in 1947. On the eve of our 64th Independence day we express our warmest greetings to all indians and also pays our tribute to the great leaders of the freedom struggle.
