We welcomes you..........
          To learn, To celebrate and To win the life........

        We, the whole campus were awaiting for your arraival. For a thirty five year old campus It may not be new event but for us it is a special moment just becuase we have some dreams. we need you to full-fill it. We congratulate you all for your outstanding victory in the higher secondary examinations.In today's competitive learning environment scoring high may not be sufficient but scoring higher than the highest is essential to get an admission in a college. It is fact that 70-75% marks are good enough to judge your caliber but you have to be in the top 20-30 to secure an admission. In that sense you have won a battle to be a part of us.
        Unlike the earlier years we have deliberately made some arrangements to recieve you. we are sure this year we have got the best talents and we are halve won the battle towards our quality vision. Every moment we are commited to deliver the best of us. And we expect the better than the best from you. We dont wish to lecture how to learn but to show you how to celebrate learning. This time we share our confidence in your seniors they have really made our departmet more and more colourful the day after day.
       It is no doubt a three year graduation programme will have significan influent in forming your behaviour, personality, perception and values. we are sure you have made a right choice to be a part with us. But still It is left to you to decide what identity you want create, a leader, a follower, a hero, and so on. wishing you success in the days to come....

The sign of Change...
       We believe our department is going through some historic changes over the last couple of years. We understand there are large numbers external factors which is driving these changes. Mass changes in the attitude of our people towards education, wide awareness about educational needs, Restructured and simplified curriculum, enhanced learning opportunities , increased income of our people, and many other factors have contributed to this drastic changes in the academic environment of PTM Govt College from a violent, inefficient institution to a calm and effective organization in Perinthalmanna.
           However there are some internal factors that have fuelled this growth of our department really worth mentioning. This year’s admission process was the last visible example for the internal changes that can undoubtedly uplift the name and fame our department in specific and the college in general. I take this opportunity to express my gratitude towards all our teachers, students and of course parents who have made our admission day great. Obviously without a group of committed teachers and students we would not have achieved this.
        Coming to the facts, it may be a record in the history of DCMS to fill all the seats offered except one ST seat in the first phase of interview and more interestingly all the students admitted belongs to high academic profile category. The seating arrangement, hospitality, admission process and procedures, use of IT advantages, among all were far better in comparison to previous years.
         As we move ahead whatever things we have done are just foundations and we have miles to go before we sleep. We need more planning and hard work. Before I conclude I would like to remind you a fact that all our efforts will become useless unless it is resulted in enhanced marks and pass outs. I reiterate the time very precious and crucial for us, so manage it well and do whatever is required to keep our institution at the top.

Remember the future belongs to those who believes in the beauty of their dreams....I expects your achievements and character are really a growing valuable assets of your society.....
       However I challenge you not to rest, but to continue towards your challenging aspirations...successful people don't relax in chairs....they feel relax with their work..they sleep with dream and wake-up with a new commitment....
       Once again I congratulate you for your great commitment .........you are really the best of the best.....enjoy yourself .......and remember....life is a promise; fulfill it......!
